About the InternDoor Blog

The editorial side of InternDoor, a free board of engineering internships and entry-level jobs in India.

What this is

InternDoor records engineering internships and entry-level jobs in India as employers post them, and lists them on a free board. The blog is where we write about what those postings show: monthly figures, reports on what postings do and do not say, and guides for the people applying.

Posts are written and edited by InternDoor and published under its name.

What we publish

  • Reports, built from postings we have counted. Every figure says what it counts and how many postings are behind it.
  • Guides for applicants. Where a guide makes a claim about postings, it says how many it looked at; where it gives advice, it says so.

Our standards

  • Every figure carries its count and its method. A percentage without the number behind it is not published.
  • Monthly figures are frozen. Each month is counted once and then left alone, so a number you quote stays true. If a frozen figure turns out to be wrong, the post that uses it says so, rather than the figure changing quietly. September 2026’s stipend count is the first example.
  • Facts we did not count ourselves are cited to a primary source, with a link.
  • Measurement and advice are kept apart, and labelled.
  • Nobody pays to appear. Employers cannot pay to be featured, and InternDoor never charges students.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to akshat@interndoor.com with the post and the figure. Corrections are made in the post itself and dated.

Using our figures

Free to quote, with a link to the post or to the monthly report the figure comes from. How each figure is counted is on How we count.
